7 Days Meru and Maasai Mara Safari

Mara River Crossing – Wildebeests and Zebras at Mara Triangle, Maasai Mara, KENYA.

Explore the untold wonders of Central Kenya at Meru National Park. Meru is one of the best national parks of Kenya. It hosts abundant wildlife and offers some of the best sceneries you’ll ever come across in Kenya. At the park, you can catch breathtaking views of the snow-capped Mt.Kenya. The park is also the setting for ‘Born Free’ the book by Joy Adamson that was later successfully made into a film. It’s considered a camper’s paradise. Maasai Mara, on the other hand, is home to the 8th Wonder of the World – The Annual Great Wildebeest Migration that takes place between the months of July and October. Millions of wildebeests and zebras embark on a treacherous journey from Serengeti plains in the neighboring Tanzania to Kenya in search of pasture. Serengeti is primarily their breeding ground but during this particular season, the pastures are usually in plenty across Mara River. The best place to witness this spectacle has to be the Mara Triangle where our guides position you in best spots to capture and experience the action fast hand as huge Nile crocodiles waylay and prey on the crossing wildebeests and zebras. Maasai Mara is also home to the amazing Maasai culture.
